Motorcar Showroom Yeovil was built in 1928 and formerly housed prominent local motorcar dealers Vincent Motors.
Levels Heritage Limited has formed a Joint Venture Partnership with Plan-T Investments Ltd to develop Motorcar Showroom into 1 and 2 Bed Apartments.
Development work is scheduled to start in January 2027

History
The Vincent family name in Yeovil's motor and carriage trade traces back to 1840, when Vincent's Motor Works was established by John Vincent. The family expanded through coaching, engineering, and later motor vehicle sales
The iconic Art Deco-style car showroom on the corner of Court Ash (and Princes Street / Kingston area) was built around 1928. Over the decades, Vincent's of Yeovil sold various popular vehicles including Ford Anglias, Minis, and Riley Elfs, to generations of local residents.
The multi-floor building also housed other tenants at different times, including offices for the Ordnance Survey on the upper floor in the 1960s, and post office vehicles parked underneath. The distinctive white building later transitioned away from the motor trade and was converted into office and commercial use, notably housing Batten’s solicitors in recent times.
